Install once. Every spinner pays.

One command detects every supported AI coding agent on your machine and wires its spinner up as ad space. You earn 50% of every impression your terminal serves.

Requires Node.js 18+. Zero runtime dependencies — nothing else gets installed.

$ curl -fsSL https://www.statuspaid.com/install.sh | sh

Same thing, one paste: checks your Node version, then runs the npx installer.

Sponsored spinner verbs plus a paying status line, hot-reloaded while the agent works. Also covers the VS Code and Cursor extensions — they read the same settings file.

Full support

A StatusPaid skin supplies sponsored thinking-verbs that rotate while Hermes works. Missing keys inherit from your default skin, so nothing else changes.

Codex CLI

Turn boundaries

Codex has no spinner-text surface, so we use its sanctioned hooks: short sponsor lines at turn boundaries, rendered as system text. Never inside the model's replies.

Idle toasts

A tiny plugin shows a sponsored toast when a session goes idle. Status-bar widget support is coming as soon as their API ships.

OpenClaw

Not supported

OpenClaw's only text surface is rewriting the agent's chat replies. We don't rewrite your chats — that's adware, not ad space. No install, by design.

Uninstall anytime

One command removes every adapter and restores your original config files from the backups taken at install time (e.g. ~/.claude/settings.json.bak). No residue, no opinions.

You earn 50%

Every credited impression splits the advertiser's price per block 50/50 between you and StatusPaid. Earnings show up in your dashboard in near-real time.

One impression per 5-second window

The statusline claims an atomic lock on disk before reporting, so exactly one impression is counted per 5s window per machine — no double counting, no inflation.

Anonymous until you say otherwise

Install generates a random deviceId. It's not tied to you until you run `statuspaid link <email>` to claim your earnings for payout.
